On Feb 20, 2014 AMS student Salgaduge Dinesh Indika Dias from Sri Lanka defended his master’s thesis titled Two-flow system for calibration of hygrometers at room temperature, supervised by research fellow Martin Vilbaste. This work has been performed in the framework of a broader research direction on metrology of air parameters, linked to the air humidity and air flow velocity reference laboratory at the UT Testing centre. The defence was very successful: Dinesh demonstrated his high competence in the field and the thesis was awarded the highest grade “A”.
