AMS and EACH

Starting from 2016 there are two related programmes offered: the Applied Measurement Science (AMS) master’s programme and the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (JMD) programme Excellence in Analytical Chemistry (EACH):

1. Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (JMD) programme Excellence in Analytical Chemistry (EACH) is a programme focusing on analytical chemistry and its metrological, quality assurance and socio-economic aspects. It is partially funded by the European Commission and is offered jointly by University of Tartu (Estonia), Uppsala University (Sweden), University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France) and Åbo Akademi University (Finland). The first study year is spent at Tartu studying the fundamentals in the framework of AMS. The second year is specialization-oriented and is spent at one of the three partner universities.
